Enveric Biosciences (ENVB): A Preclinical Neuroplastogen Gamble Trapped by Its Own Capital Table

Enveric Biosciences is a preclinical biotechnology company building non-hallucinogenic neuroplastogenic molecules for depression, anxiety, and addiction. Its entire equity value rests on one asset, EB-003, a DMT derivative still in IND-enabling studies. The company raised roughly eleven million in gross proceeds across two early 2026 offerings and ended June with 8.3 million in cash, yet the auditors still raise substantial doubt about going concern because the burn pace outruns that cushion.

The stock has fallen from its 52-week high to about 1.42 over the past year. The collapse erases most of the capital raised along the way. The warrant overhang keeps the effective share count nearly triple the reported count, with 5.9 million shares sitting at a 2.00 strike. The central question is whether a five-person company can fund EB-003 into and through a first-in-human study before its capital structure, or Nasdaq listing rules, force a reset.
